On 25 February 2025, Mr. Áron Szakács, Head of the SZPI, met with representatives of the Prešov Self-governing Region, led by its President, Mr. Milan Majerský.

The meeting focused on assessing the ongoing cooperation within the Interreg NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme. Key topics included the contracting progress under the 1st Call for Proposals and the next steps towards launching the 2nd Call.

This dialogue reaffirms the commitment to strengthening cross-border partnerships and ensuring the smooth implementation of projects that contribute to regional development.
