New Programme Officially started
Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine programme (2021 – 2027) previously approved by EC, has been officially launched on 01 February 2023!

Programme objectives and priorities
address common challenges and promote cooperation between partner countries. The NEXT Programme is structured along three Priorities:
- Priority 1 - A resilient and green border region
- Priority 2 - A healthy and attractive border region
- Priority 3 - A cooperating border region

Who can apply?
Applicants must fulfil eligibility criteria with respect to their legal status, their operational background, their geographical location and their professional and financial background. Each Applicant has to fulfil all of the following criteria:
- be a legal person and
- be non-profit making and

Programme area
sets the boundaries within which the projects and activities take place. Covers the following NUTS III level equivalent regions:
in Hungary:
Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg vármegye
Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén vármegye

Programme bodies
work together to ensure successful implementation of the programme, manage funds, monitor project progress, and facilitate communication. Institutions below represent the internal governance of the programme:
The Monitoring Committee (MC) - supervises the Programme and its performance and makes decisions accordingly. Consists of members delegated by partner countries
